We have had a fantastic time here. The house has a lovely feel to it and has everything we needed for three small children. The area is so peaceful and would recommend admiring the windmill just before sunsets – gorgeous, we would also recommend Chateau Oiron (close by) which houses a fab modern art collection – brilliant for the kids too – as is Puy Du Fou. We have had a wonderful week here, it has felt like home from home and the children have really enjoyed themselves, with everything they could need, and of course the safety of the enclosed garden. We have found some really interesting places to visit thanks to all the information made available by you. The Chinon Fortress was especially interesting and also Richelieu, which really should be visited in that order. Bikes could be hired in the park of Richelieu for 1 ½ euros each for 1 hours, the park was so safe, you could let them go!
